The Biggest Loser: Wong Family Edition

So in an effort to help my sister lose weight (the freshman 15 are evil), my mom got the brilliant idea to enforce a weight loss plan on the whole family and pay us all $100 per pound lost. The person who loses the most gets paid double or something. There are even weekly weigh-ins. Any tips?

WHAT?? I know two guys who eat salad with grilled chicken (no seasoning) and no dressing. And then do cardio and weights. Haha umm good luck

fast. after 3 days, you lose a pound a day. ;]

omg can i join your family???? i've lost like 3.5 lbs in the past month or so. this is all i've done:

-chew VERY SLOWLY

this is what i hear helps with weight loss:

-less sugar. NO HIGH FRUCTOSE CORN SYRUP!
-build muscles (bc they burn more.. whatever it is)
-drink tea, to help with digestion. green or white, not black. something about oxidation.
-NO PROCESSED FOODS!

fasting you'll only lose water weight, i think. and not cut the fat.

can i be in your family now? :D

Eat and drink more water before the initial weigh in so that you will look like you lost more weight for the next one haha

nope. if you fast for short periods of time, it might be water weight that you are losing. but prolonged fasts of more than a couple days results in the elimination of body weight--fat and muscle.

i was joking, btw. just checking. :]
